Q. Why should I hire a Personal Trainer?
A. When it comes to starting a fitness routine, you have options. You could join a fitness club and try to figure out hundreds of different exercises and what all that fancy equipment does. You could join a group fitness program and be forced to perform at a pace that works for the group even if it's not exactly the right pace for you. One of the biggest problems with people engaging in exercise programs on their own is SAFETY! Proper form, breathing and stretching techniques as well as a good understanding of what each exercise is design to do is extremely important for your safety and overall progress.
By hiring a personal trainer you can have a custom fitness routine design specifically for you, based on your needs, goals, lifestyle and current level of fitness. One of the biggest benefits of working with a PT is that the trainer could come to your house or any other location of your choice saving you time and effort of commuting to the gym or looking for a babysitter making it possible for you to accomplish your fitness goals in the privacy of your own home.
Without question working with a personal trainer is the fastest, safest, and most effective way to get the results you want. Whether you are getting in top shape for the first time or getting back to your 'fighting weight' from your college days, a personal trainer will make the process faster, easier and more fun. And the best part is you will get one-on-one personal attention for each workout. They will be more productive and filled with enthusiasm, encouragement and significant progress.

A. Here are some good reasons why:
Q. What are the some advantages and disadvantages of joining the gym?
A. Some of the advantages would be:
Some of the disadvantages are:
But don't get me wrong there is no right or wrong way here, whether you exercise at the gym or at home it doesn't mater as long as you do it period!
Q. What is more important diet or exercise?
A. They are both important in order to get the best results from a wellness program. But that being said remember you cannot out exercise bad eating habits. For example, if you have a something like Starbucks frappachino and an espresso brownie which is about 1100 calories (something that many people consume on a daily basis in the morning on the way to work or as a quick fix snack), even with the most intense 60 minute workout you will not be able to burn the 1100 calories that took you 3 minutes to consume. Losing weight and increasing muscular definition can only be accomplished by burning body fat and creating a negative caloric balance which is almost impossible to achieve without a good eating plan.
Q. Do I have to do a lot of cardio to burn a lot of fat?
A. There is no fat loss magic in doing marathon cardio. In fact, most knowledgeable trainers ?in-the-know? are using intervals instead of slow, boring cardio to help their client's burn more fat fast. Also who has time now days to waist 60 minutes on the treadmill every day when you can complete a full workout in just 45 minutes and be able to see tremendous results?
Q. Do I have to workout 7 days a week in order to see results?
A. The answer is ABSOLUTETLY NO!!! Please understand you don't need to workout every day. The truth is you only need to do 3 short home fitness workouts per week of 45 minutes in order to get in the shape that you want. The key here is intensity and the type and order of exercise you perform. But in order to get the full benefits of living a healthy lifestyle, you have to continue to stay active on days when you don't train by participating in 30 minutes of light physical activities such as walking your dog, playing with your kids or running errands. This type of approach will insure that your body is continues to improve, burn fat 24/7 and stays injury free.
